iloilo banwa ko... forgot how the rest of the song goes

one more day to go and i'm off to iloilo! finally! i haven't been able to leave roxas since i got back more than a month ago and i'm dying to get out! sweet, sweet freedom... even if it is just for a few days.

hopefully we do good this time around. the shell tournament has been something i've been looking forward to since i missed the kalibo tournament last month. i'm so ready and raring to go.

i can just picture it out. late night talks with pam, coffee and saturday night gimik with fareng mike, the smell of competition and shuttles cracking. i miss breakthrough, afrique's, shakey's... aaaahhh!!! lakat na ko! hehe

its either this or the mymp concert here. i am sooo not in the mood to get myself all depressed! ayayay! hand me a blade and a calamansi please!

brownout pa here now so its not making time pass by as quickly as i hoped. grabi! the whole panay daw brownout. up to some parts of leyte and cebu. so much for progress. i was on the way home from a failed plan to practice one last time before the tournament and the plaza was pitch black! as in, the center of the city ha! this is so ridiculous!

newfound appreciation

• text messages from friends before i wake
• hot showers in the morning, especially after a night of rain
• hands free feature of my cellphone to avoid the redundancy of my job
• afternoon naps to snap me out of the numbing sensation after too many things rammed into your head the whole morning
• zesto juices... mmmm good and hits the spot for that much needed sugar high. especially the plus ones... oh joy of joys! more in one deliciously cold packet. haha i am getting so corny na!
• webcam conversations with aumi... i miss u na bes pren!
• text messages from dorlyn and mike when you feel bummed and depressed (especially around the red marked days of the month, if you know what i mean).
• hwang jini at 10pm haha!
• travel and living channel... i am addicted! its the first thing i watch in the day and the last before i doze off.
